Q: How is the REIONATOR™ different from softeners I see at nearby home improvement stores and many other water dealers that come to my home?
A: Most water softeners sold are only that: water softeners. The REIONATOR™ takes it a step beyond, reducing elements that cause hard water (calcium and magnesium) while also reducing levels of iron, aesthetic chlorine, taste, odor, sulfates, and nitrates. Also, many “less expensive” systems do not have the quality parts, valves, resin and technology used in manufacturing a Reionator system. Quality does matter!
Q: How do I know which product is right for me?
A: The best way to determine what product is best for you is to have your water tested. A Water dealer will use the test results, which will show water hardness and the presence of other unnecessary elements, to decide what size or type of equipment is needed to remedy your water problems. He will also consider other factors such as family size. Contact your Hulbert Consulting for a free, no-risk water analysis.
Q: Is bottled water the best alternative to my tap water?
A: Bottled water usually tastes good, but it can be expensive and a hassle to purchase and store. It is less expensive to use a home drinking water system. Drinking water systems are convenient and provide you with high-quality water in your own home when you want it, at prices per gallon that are considerably lower than bottled water. Also, many customers are satisfied with the Water treated by our Reionator Whole house system all by itself.
Q: Don't water filters remove important minerals from my water?
A: Studies have found that minerals in your drinking water essentially make no contribution to your health and may even be present in forms your body can't absorb. Unfortunately, companies that promote "mineral water" perpetuate the myth that drinking water with minerals is healthy.
Q: Isn't city water good enough without a REIONATOR™ unit?
A: "Good enough" means different things for different people. It is true that communities are required to meet Primary Drinking Water Standards, but the quality of their water is still less than what many people desire. The REIONATOR™ will allow your water to meet much stricter standards. You will see a difference, you will feel a difference, and you will taste the difference that the REIONATOR™ provides.
Q: Why do softeners produce that slick, slimy feeling? Does the REIONATOR™ also have this result/effect?
A: Water hardness is principally a result of calcium bicarbonate in your water. A standard water softener removes the calcium, exchanging it for sodium. It gives you soft water, but it also means you now have sodium bicarbonate in your water – otherwise known as baking soda. This is what causes a slimy feeling in the shower and that weird taste. The REIONATOR™ not only gets rid of the calcium, it also removes much of the bicarbonate. This balances your water leaving it tasting and feeling great.
