Directions for use:
1. Using tube fitting instructions included. Cut tubing to desired lengths. Recommended: about 1’ connected to out flow of filter (marked on bottom of filter housing). 6 to 12 inches from in flow of filter housing to in-line shut off valve. Rest of line from shut off valve to bucket. Note: the longer the tube (drop) from bucket to filter the better the flow rate of the water.
2. Add water to Bucket and turn shutoff valve to be in line with tubing (open position).
3. Dispose of first gallon of water with new filter.
4. If water flow slows significantly or stops you will need to clean out filter in bucket, and/or open filter housing and clean filter from debris, and/or replace filter. Filter should last 500 to 1500 gallon plus of water to be treated (depending on water quality). However, if contaminated or really dirty water is being filtered you may want to clean off or change filter more frequently.
5. To change filter cartridge, twist the canister counter clockwise off the base. Remove old cartridge and replace with new one. Be sure to keep “O” ring in place on canister and gaskets on filter.
6. Replacement filters and parts can be obtained through our website or from calling the numbers below.
